Hawaii: A Family Trip to Oahu and The Big Island
Fifteen years after honeymooning in Hawaii, we returned for Christmas to celebrate our anniversary with our kids and my parents. Over ten days, we explored Oahu and the Big Island, from Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head to manta ray snorkeling, Volcanoes National Park, and black sand beaches. Watching our kids experience the islands made this our most meaningful trip yet—full of joy, adventure, and unforgettable family memories.

Putting Down Roots on a Farm: An Introduction (Part 1)
Before Farm. Fashion. Family. here’s where it all began — my lifelong love for animals and the journey that shaped Where Fashion Meets Life. From childhood dreams of veterinary medicine to advanced degrees in Animal Science and Biomechanics, horses and farm life have always been part of my story. Today I’m raising my family on a Mississippi hobby farm filled with horses, goats, chickens, and plenty of everyday adventures rooted in both science and heart.

Travel Must Haves
Finding my voice again meant choosing to quiet my inner critic and share anyway. Destination Date
“Destination Dates” have been part of our marriage for years — intentional time away to slow down, reconnect, and focus on each other without the noise of everyday life. This recent trip reminded us why stepping away matters and how investing in your marriage starts with investing in yourself. Whether it’s a full week away or small moments of self care at home, creating space to recharge can strengthen both you and your relationship in meaningful ways.

Fall Fun: Creating Family Memories
Fall is finally here — cooler weather, falling leaves, and pumpkins grown by our pig Daisy (yes, really!). After an epic horse show weekend filled with ribbons, championships, and unforgettable family moments, this season feels even sweeter. From decorating for my favorite time of year to slowing down and being present, I’m leaning into gratitude, memory-making, and the simple joy of being right where my feet are.
