Family is the heart behind Where Fashion Meets Life. From Mississippi roots and a whirlwind love story to homeschooling three kids, running Willowbrook Farm, and building a life centered on travel, horses, and everyday adventures — this post shares the journey that shaped our family. Through challenges, big moves, and dreams realized, we’ve learned that the best memories are made together, whether at home on the farm or exploring somewhere new side by side.

Before Farm. Fashion. Family. here’s where it all began — my lifelong love for animals and the journey that shaped Where Fashion Meets Life. From childhood dreams of veterinary medicine to advanced degrees in Animal Science and Biomechanics, horses and farm life have always been part of my story. Today I’m raising my family on a Mississippi hobby farm filled with horses, goats, chickens, and plenty of everyday adventures rooted in both science and heart.

Fall is finally here — cooler weather, falling leaves, and pumpkins grown by our pig Daisy (yes, really!). After an epic horse show weekend filled with ribbons, championships, and unforgettable family moments, this season feels even sweeter. From decorating for my favorite time of year to slowing down and being present, I’m leaning into gratitude, memory-making, and the simple joy of being right where my feet are.
